Client will only increase the worth of each project, and the value
you bring to it.
As part of a large professional network, Patchwork Consulting enjoys
a reciprocal and symbiotic relationship with other businesses. In
this sense, Patchwork Consulting’s professional network strives
to support our fellow colleagues in fostering and advancing any
potential business developments.
How Consultants Work With Their Project
Manager
Every project is assigned a Project Manager. Your Project Manager
will communicate with you on all project related issues such as
the scope, timeline, budget, payment terms and deliverables. The
Project Manager is your project lifeline, serving as a liaison between
you and the Client.
The relationship between the Independent Consultant and the Project
Manager is as important as the relationship between Patchwork Consulting
and its clients. It is imperative to establish open and honest communication
channels between these two essential project personas.
How Consultants Work With The Client
For every Patchwork Consulting project, the Project Manager will
determine the communication mode between the Independent Consultant
and the Client; such interactions depend on the project at hand.
More often than not, the Independent Consultant will have little
if any communication with the Client. The Project Manager will handle
the minutia of project, will and consistently provide the Independent
Consultant with clear direction alleviating the project management
burden from the Independent Consultant. This frees the Independent
Consultant to do what she or he does best!
Sometimes it may be necessary for the Independent Consultant to
work directly with a Client (in person or on the telephone) to discuss
a project. In these instances, the Project Manager will define the
course of the interaction.
